Principal

Paul has nearly 30 years’ experience as a Chartered Accountant with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in supporting small businesses with their accountancy and tax affairs. Paul is keen to ensure that every client feels fully supported by each member of the team and promotes a light, friendly atmosphere to welcome new and old customers alike. As a local business man and director of Rochdale AFC, Paul is keen to support local businesses where possible and of course, is always happy to talk football!

The Team

The team that we have established over the years is tailor-made to provide an all-round service for small to medium sized companies. We are a multi skilled team and can support other departments to ensure a timely and efficient completion of work.

Bookkeeping & VAT Department

We have two members of staff in our Bookkeeping & VAT department who have experience in a range of bookkeeping systems from manual records to the more complex computer systems.

Both bookkeepers combined have valuable experience in the industry that covers running their own business and as a senior member of staff for a small limited company.

Payroll

Our Payroll Manager joined our team over 7 years ago and currently oversees the processing and submitting of payroll for over 100 clients a month. When needed, we can call on support from the Bookkeeping department to ensure a continuous payroll cover in the ever changing world of payroll and HR.

Accounts Preparation

Accounts preparation is fundamental to the service we provide and the majority of the work is carried out by an accountant who is qualified by his years of experience in the industry.

Our accountant is supported by an Accounts Preparation Clerk who is currently working towards obtaining accountancy qualifications.

Personal Tax

We also employ a part-time member of staff whose sole objective is to prepare and submit Personal Tax Returns; using the information provides by our clients. This ensures that returns are submitted in good time for the appropriate deadline and also allows our clients to be aware of their annual Income Tax liabilities before they become due for payment.

Administration/Reception

Our administrators are experienced in all areas of office administration and support the company in a range of duties. In addition to this, our administrators are usually the first point of contact for all our clients, new and old, and we work hard to ensure that every one feels welcomed and relaxed when they visit the office; with new faces quickly remembered.
